Shipping & Returns

Shipping

Orders are printed to order in Malta and typically ship within [placeholder: X to Y business days] of payment, depending on queue and material. You'll get a shipping confirmation by email once your order is on its way; you can also check its status any time under My Orders.

We currently deliver within Malta only. Delivery is a flat EUR 5, and free once your order reaches EUR 100. You see the exact fee in your cart before you confirm payment.

You can also pick your order up yourself at no charge: select the pickup option in your cart and we'll contact you to arrange a collection time once it's ready.

Right of withdrawal (14-day cooling-off period)

If you're an EU consumer, you generally have the right to cancel an online order within 14 days of receiving it, for any reason, without needing to justify yourself, under the EU Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU). To cancel, contact us at layerlabsprinting@gmail.com within that window; you're responsible for return shipping unless the item is faulty or not as described.

Important exception for 3D printing: under Article 16(c) of that same directive, goods made to your specifications or clearly personalised, which covers most of what we make, since custom quote uploads and made-to-order prints are produced specifically for you, are not covered by the 14-day right of withdrawal, unless they arrive faulty or damaged. Ready-made items bought as-is from the Shop (not customized) are covered by the standard 14-day right described above.

Faulty, damaged or incorrect items

If something arrives damaged, faulty, or different from what you ordered, contact us at layerlabsprinting@gmail.com with photos within 14 days of delivery and we'll arrange a reprint, repair or refund at no cost to you. This applies to custom items too, since it's not a change-of-mind return.
